My Story
I graduated from PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan. My research focused on utilising SSR Markers to determine Genetic Divergence in Brassica napus. Since 2017, I have worked as a Scientific Officer at the Government Research Organisation Oilseeds Research Institute, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Pakistan. During my tenure, I, along with my team, successfully developed Rapeseed & Mustard varieties that have been registered in the Plant Breeders Rights’ Registry. Notably, I led a competitive grant project aimed at enhancing shattering tolerance in Brassica napus. Seeking to further my professional growth and expertise, I am pursuing a PhD in the esteemed Batley Lab.
