My Story
I earned my Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering (2017), majoring in Crop Sciences, from the Universidade de Brasília, with part of my studies completed at the Universidad Nacional del Sur in Argentina. In 2021, I obtained a Master of Science in Agriculture and Crop Science (Genetic Resources and Plant Breeding) also from the Universidade de Brasília, where my research focused on the heritability and selection of recombinant progenies of red quinoa with adaptability to the Brazilian Savannah.
From 2014 to 2021, I worked as an Agricultural Consultant at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), managing multiple projects across Latin America.
Now, I am further advancing my expertise in genomics through my PhD research at the Batley Lab.
