My Story
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2022. However, I have decided to pursue a Master of Biotechnology at UWA after obtaining my Bachelor’s degree because I gradually became more interested in animal and plant genetics and how genetics can be manipulated to improve plant productivity and treatments for rare or common diseases during my final year of undergraduate studies. In 2024, I joined Batley Lab and started my Master’s research project to identify the effective concentration of DL-phosphinothricin (PPT) for canola transformation by Agrobacterium tumefaciens.
